The thefts occurred between Jan. 20 and Feb. 26 at the Circle K store in the 3200 block of Jemison Avenue and the Family Dollar store in the first block of South Avenue Street, according to a probable crime statement from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. .
The report revealed that 31-year-old Eric D. Marion was suspected of serious crimes. Police said he stole 100 e-cigarettes from a Circle K store on January 20; multiple cases of cigarettes from a Family Dollar on January 29; and another 60 cases of cigarettes from a Circle K on February 16. ; Then on February 26, he stole 8 boxes of cigarettes.
The St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office charged Marion with theft and third theft - $750.
Prosecutors believe Marion has three previous theft convictions in the past 10 years. These thefts caused serious legal problems for him and eventually landed him behind bars.
